6. The City previously proposed a major freeway-style interchange at Hwy 97 and Cooley Road, with the primary purpose being to provide the main access route to the future Juniper Ridge Industrial Park development (via Cooley Road). An alternative main access point further north off of Hwy 97 is now being considered. Are you in favor of a northern interchange for this purpose?

Comments:
1 Would like to see weed control continued and expanded |
1 Housing tract developers should have to set aside more land for parks and open spaces |
1 Big difference between west and east sides of town; east feels more isolated, more sprawl, lots of sidewalks and no one walking, poor restaurant choices, lines of traffic |
1 I think there should be a way to get rid of renters who do not take care of yards and speeding on residential streets; making owners responsible. |
1 Informational gatherings |
9. Do you think the NA should take a side and take action on issues that affect us, or simply distribute information so individuals can take action on their own?
44 - Take a side and take action |
5 - Distribute information only |
Comments:
1 As long as there is majority consensus within the Association |
1 Where there is clear majority support from active members of the NA |
1 Feel we are just fed info on issues already decided and we have no control. |
1 Keep it a group that will deal with City Hall |
1 Depends on how many are speaking for the entire area; if only a few, distribution only please; I dont want 2 or 3 activists speaking for everyone believing we agree with them |
1 When the issue is at odds with the mission of NA; protecting and enhancing the liveability and sense of community |
1 Distribute information, get opinions/guidance and then take action in consensus |
