Neighborhood Volunteer Committees and Openings
Land Use Committee: Monitors land use development and activity within ours and neighboring associations.
Social Committee & Chair: Organizes social activities and events for our neighborhood including block parties, welcome wagons, etc.
Transportation Committee & Chair: Involvement in transportation safety meetings and ongoing discussions and projects with the City of Bend (includes pedestrian cyclist and transit issues)
Parks Committee: Involvement in meetings, projects and ongoing discussions with Bend Metro and Oregon State parks, pocket parks, etc.
Good Samaritan Committee: Coordinating volunteers with local elderly or shut-in’s in need of assistance
Lets Pull Together Planning Committee: Help plan and coordinate our annual noxious weed eradication event.
Short term Volunteer Opportunities: if you have need or can assist with any of our ongoing projects
Block Captains: Form a Neighborhood Watch to being prepared in the event of a natural disaster, block captains serve a crucial role for a healthy neighborhood. Consider serving as the "go-to" person on your block. Work with our other block captains in making our neighborhoods safe.
